BOJANALA EDUCATION DISTRICT – PILOT PROJECT

Careerlinx - NW Bojanala District

Description: Through an Undisclosed Sponsorship Pledge, and our PBO Partner, Careerlinx, the pilot will distribute hard copy sets of the Ultimate Career Guide to NW Education Districts in a Phased Approach. We will update and provide more details on Confirmation of this Pledge.

Type of Project: Career Guidance Hard Copy Distribution into schools of the North West Education Department.

Beneficiaries: NW Education - Bojanala Education District is the Project Target.

Careerlinx is an NPO & PBO driving socio-economic equality for

entry-level unemployed youth in South Africa.

Our holistic training programmes offer AET English Literacy &

Numeracy Training, accredited Learnerships (GETC), and

Skills Courses (like welding, sewing, and woodwork).

Get Involved

The barriers faced by our post-school youth are enormous.
Access to further education and training, digital literacy,

access to transport, are just some of their hurdles.

Careerlinx engage in youth-centred partnerships for social,

education and employment impact, and business-centred
partnerships employment opportunities. We believe it is the
responsibility of individuals, corporates, government and civil society to join forces to address the issue of unemployment.

Together, we drive socio-economic equality for entry-level
unemployed youth from disadvantaged communities in South Africa.

About Donas Mates

Founded by James "Maradonna" Shabangu and established in

1999, Dona's Mates Youth Development Project is located in Orange
Farm, a township 45 km from Johannesburg. We implement football
activities and life skills programs for children and young people.

since 1999 with 400 + Youth Participants. Boys and girls across all age groups.
From U7 to Seniors with dedicated coaches.
6+ Coaches & Leaders Trained mentors guiding our youth.

combining sports excellence with life skills education to create well-rounded young adults.
Sports Development - Football training across age groups
with certified coaches, competing in the Local Football Association.
